These release notes give you a brief, high-level description of the newly developed features and the improvements implemented to existing features.

What’s New?

  • Channels: To streamline the way bot authors expose Druid chatbots in the preferred channels, they are now able to activate the channel(s) themselves; there is no need to contact Druid Tech Support and wait for channel(s) activation. For more information, see the technical documentation topic specific to the channel of choice.

  • REST Connectors: In Druid hybrid and on premise deployments, you can now integrate with third party tools which expose REST APIs that use a security certificate for authentication.

Improvements

  • The Connector Apps with autehntication which do not have the credentials set are highlighted in the Apps list. You can easily spot them and take action, that is provide the authentication credentials.

  • File transfer ([[FileTransfer]]) in LiveChat sessions is logged in Conversation History. In previous Druid versions an empty message was logged.
  • CRM Connector App: added support for Microsoft Dynamics "Multiple Selection" field/data type.
  • Added additional information on Solution Snapshot: the date when snapshot was taken (Snapshot Date) and the date when an operation was performed on the snapshot (Date).

Bug fixes

  • If an Exception Flow is set on the bot, when an error occurs in a specific flow (e.g., Holiday Request flow), in Conversation History, the error is indicated on the Exception flow, instead of Holiday Request; therefore, authors cannot track the origin of the error.

  • Corrected credentials saving on PostgreSQL Connector App.

  • Fixed downloading of excel document template file; it used to add .doc extension to excel files.

  • Fixed SOAP response task when mapping collections.

  • Fixed solution import of REST Connector Apps with Custom Authentication, authentication actions are now included in solution references.
